A New Way Of Life
God's Property New Way of Life is a Christian based group helping addicts and homeless men get clean and find jobs so they don't have to return to the street life.
The New Way of Life Recovery Program is the central ministry of God's Property Christian Fellowship. It includes a residential component, though it doesn't provide rented rooms or living space, nor establishes landlord-tenant relationships in any way. Rather, it is focused on getting men off the streets and developing them into clean, productive members of society.
"For many years, I was lost in this world," Pastor Barnett explains, " and God sent people to find me. As God worked through the Holy Spirit to clean me up and open the door to a new way of life for me, He told me that He would send me back to where He brought me from to be an instrument in His hands to bring others into a clean and sober way of life."
God's vision to Chris Barnett, pastor of God's Property Christian Fellowship and Chief Executive Officer of the New Way of Life Recovery Program, embraces the spiritual concept of searching for and finding lost souls. Though it's been a challenging struggle, God shaped Pastor Barnett and his wife Wanda with excellence in executing this ministry.
"While the struggles remain, we continuously see God opening new doors and widening old ones so this ministry can grow and move forward," Pastor Barnett said. "We work primarily with men trapped in addictive life styles, many of whom are homeless. Under God's direction, we bring these men in a highly structured home environment."
Pastor Chris Barnett won the Lamp Light Award in 2006.
